contact lenses

Have you ever felt that contact lenses are not for you?

Perhaps you tried them before and they didn’t work, you’ve been told your prescription isn’t suitable, or you only want to wear them occasionally?

Maybe you just can’t bear the thought of putting them in and taking them out of your eyes?

Our professional team of optometrists offers advice based on experience and is supported by specialist contact lens suppliers. Whatever your eyes need, our experts are able to source and fit the ideal contact lens “solution”. So why not come and talk to us?

We also know that everyone is entitled to shop around for their contact lens purchases. That is why we have adjusted our prices to strongly compete with all internet retailers. Plus you’ll have the reassurance of knowing that we’ll always be available to provide you with the best professional advice and provide a small emergency supply from our stock if you run out of lenses.

Daily Disposable contact Lenses

Great for both occasional and full time wearers, Daily Disposables have the safest and most hygienic contact lens available! By using a brand new lens every day, your eye is much less likely to develop microbial infections (compared with traditional re-usable lenses) and whereas original Daily Disposables may have been dry or unsuitable for long days, modern Silicon Hydrogel materials such Johnson & Johnson Oasys 1-Day and Alcon Dailies Total 1 enable comfortable & healthy lens wear all day every day.

The other benefit of silicone hydrogel contact lenses is that they enable up to five times more Oxygen to permeate through the lens to the cornea of the eye than standard soft lenses. This means they are ideal for those who wear their lenses for long periods of time, or who work under a range of conditions that aggravate the eye.

Available for Short Sight, Longsight, Astigmatism & Presbyopia.

Multifocal Contact Lenses

As we get older, the lenses in our eyes gradually become less flexible. This condition, which is called presbyopia, makes it harder to focus clearly on close objects. It means that we’ll start to need different prescriptions for seeing at different distances

It used to be that the onset of presbyopia meant you were no longer suitable for contact lens wear. However, advances in lens technology in recent years mean that varifocal lenses, sometimes called multifocal lenses, now give you the freedom to see clearly at all distances.

Johnson & Johnson Acuvue Oasys Max 1-Day Multifocal and Alcon Dailies Total 1 Multifocal are the two premium daily disposable multifocals on the market.
